A man has been jailed for over four years after supplying Class A drugs across South Sefton.
29-year-old Michael King of Litherland Road, Liverpool was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to four and a half years in prison yesterday, Wednesday 12 July.
On 13 June 2023 King was arrested on suspicion of several drug offences on Stanley Street in Liverpool after officers searched him and found heroin and crack cocaine.
A warrant was then executed at King’s address where two mobile phones were recovered revealing strong evidence that King was dealing Class A drugs
He was arrested and charged with seven drug supply offences and driving whilst disqualified. King later pleaded guilty to all charges in court.
Detective Sergeant Gerard Farley said: “King operated a county lines drugs supply scheme across the South Sefton area, particularly in Bootle, Litherland and Seaforth
“Thanks to a joint police operation within Merseyside Police a successful arrest and warrant was executed at two properties where two mobile phones were uncovered that were crucial to the investigation.
“King’s imprisonment shows we will target any offenders involved in county lines drug supply and bring them to justice.
“We rely on information from the community and I would urge anyone who has information about criminality of this type to contact us.”
