Carrickfergus, County Antrim, witnessed a devastating arson attack in the early hours of Sunday when three vans and two cars were deliberately set on fire, causing significant damage. The incident, which took place in the Taylors Avenue area, has left the community in shock and authorities investigating the malicious act.
Police were alerted to the situation shortly before 3.40am on Sunday when they received a report of several vehicles engulfed in flames. Officers, along with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, quickly responded to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent further damage.
