Detectives have taken a significant step forward in an ongoing murder investigation following the discovery of a deceased man at a residence in west London. The incident unfolded on Saturday, August 12, when authorities were alerted to an unresponsive individual at a multi-occupancy house on Nine Acres Close in Hayes.
Upon receiving the call at 11:00, police swiftly arrived at the scene, accompanied by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Tragically, the 40-year-old victim, identified as Krzysztof Baran, was pronounced dead at the premises.
A post-mortem examination conducted on Sunday, August 13, confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound. In light of this revelation, detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command have taken charge of the investigation, working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
The authorities have reached out to Krzysztof Baran’s family to inform them of the heartbreaking loss and are providing necessary support during this difficult time.
As part of the ongoing investigation, a 38-year-old man was apprehended at the scene of the incident. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at a police station in west London. Detectives are working to gather information and evidence as they proceed with their inquiries.
