Man Found Dead in West London Home – Murder Probe Underway
Detectives have made a major breakthrough after a man was found dead at a property in west London. On Saturday, August 12, emergency services were called to a multi-occupancy house on Nine Acres Close, Hayes, after reports of an unresponsive man.
Tragic Discovery and Arrest at the Scene
Police and London Ambulance paramedics arrived promptly at 11am but sadly, 40-year-old Krzysztof Baran was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem on August 13 confirmed he died from a stab wound.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at the address and is currently held at a west London police station as investigations continue.
Detectives Offer Condolences and Urge Community Calm
“My thoughts are with the family of the man who has died, and we will do all we can to support them as our investigation progresses,” said Detective Chief Inspector Sal Minhas, who is leading the inquiry.
Minhas added the attack appears to be an isolated incident but encouraged anyone with information or concerns to contact local officers.

The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command is now spearheading the probe, working around the clock to piece together what led to this tragic stabbing.
