Neighbours urged to stay safe amid heavy smoke

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. But locals close to the blaze have been told to keep their windows and doors shut due to thick smoke blanketing the area.

Firefighters fight flames with foam and jets

Crews battled the rapidly spreading fire using compressed air foam, hose reel jets, and main jets. The height vehicle gave firefighters the upper hand, allowing them to tackle flames climbing onto the roof.

Fire crews continue dampening hotspots

Firefighters remain on scene, carefully turning over debris and dousing smouldering spots to prevent flare-ups. A full investigation will now probe the cause of the blaze.
