Shock Crash in Lewisham: Cyclist Hits Lamppost, Left Fighting for Life
Chaos broke out on Lewisham Road at around 7pm tonight when a cyclist smashed into a lamppost.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were quick on the scene after reports of the crash came in on Saturday, 14 January.
Young Cyclist Seriously Hurt
The victim, a 19-year-old man, was treated by paramedics on-site before being rushed to hospital. His injuries are life-threatening, police confirmed.
Investigation Underway
A police spokesperson said: “A scene has been set up pending further investigation.” Authorities are working to piece together what caused the terrifying smash.
