Massive Blaze Hits Terraced Home in Hayes
Firefighters from the 1 Fire Brigade rushed to tackle a huge blaze tearing through a property on Douglas Crescent, Hayes this afternoon.
Eight Engines & 60 Firefighters Battle Flames
Eight fire engines, a command unit, officers, and an aerial ladder were deployed to the scene. In total, 60 firefighters and officers are battling the well-developed fire at the terraced property.
Road Closed as Firefighters Fight to Contain Blaze
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Meanwhile, the road has been shut in both directions to keep the public safe and allow emergency crews to do their work.
