Early Morning Smash Hits Tredington
West Midlands Ambulance Service sprang into action at 4.18am after a serious collision on the A429 in Tredington, near Glebe Farm. Three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car rushed to the scene.
Van Overturned, Lorry Front End Shattered
A service spokesman revealed: “Crews found a van on its side and a lorry, both suffering front-end damage.”
Two Men Seriously Hurt, One Lorry Driver Walks Away
- The van driver was seriously injured and whisked off to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. The trauma doctor stayed with him en route to continue urgent treatment.
- The van passenger was also treated for potentially serious injuries before heading to the same hospital.
- The lorry driver was checked out at the scene and chose to get himself to hospital as a precaution.
