DC Jack Evans of Ipswich CID said: “This was an extremely aggressive and cowardly attack by Ciuraru on someone he knew. It was a busy time of day with vehicles driving past and numerous members of public witnessing the attack. I’d like to thank the members of the public who came to the victim’s aid at the time and who were willing to provide crucial evidence as witnesses.”
