Teen Stabbed in Shocking Ollerton Brawl
Police rushed to a house in The Markhams, Ollerton, yesterday afternoon after reports of a violent showdown.
A 19-year-old man was found inside the property with multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his chest and shoulder. He was swiftly taken to hospital, where thankfully his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Brawl Spills Onto Streets
The fight reportedly started inside the home before spilling out into the street, involving several people. Officers have arrested five suspects linked to the violence: four men aged 18, 19, 21, and 22, plus an 18-year-old woman, all suspected of affray.
Police Speak Out on Serious Assault
Detective Inspector Andy Hall of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was a nasty assault that has left a young man in hospital with serious injuries. It was a distressing but isolated incident.”
“There is no ongoing threat to the wider public, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this.”
“The level of violence seen here is completely unacceptable and won’t be tolerated in our communities.”
“We’ve arrested multiple people but are still following several lines of inquiry. Anyone with information, CCTV, or mobile footage should contact police on 101, quoting incident 330 of 15 March 2023.”
