Tragic Death of Teen ‘Fred’ Rocks Northampton
Sixteen-year-old Rohan Shand—known as Fred to family and friends—has died following an incident near the Cock Hotel on Harborough Road, Harborough. The tragedy struck at around 3:35pm on Wednesday, March 22.
Two Teens in Custody for Rohan’s Death
Two boys from Northampton, aged 16 and 14, were arrested but cannot be named for legal reasons. Both are set to appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court today.
A 49-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, also from Northampton, were arrested in connection with the case but have now been released without any further action.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or has CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage from the area at the time to get in touch.
