Specialist explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) units have wrapped up their operation, handing the site back to Bedfordshire police. Although the immediate danger has passed, searches at the property will continue into next week.

- A man in his 40s remains hospitalised with life-changing injuries from the blast.
- He has been arrested under the Explosive Substances Act but is yet to be questioned while receiving treatment.
