Serious Crash in Hawkinge Involving Three Cars and Cyclist
Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty collision in Hawkinge left a cyclist seriously injured. The smash happened at 1.50pm on Sunday, 30 April 2023, on the A260 Canterbury Road near Densole.
Three Cars and Cyclist Collide on Busy Road
A silver Ford Focus, white VW Golf, and green Toyota Aygo were travelling along Canterbury Road when they crashed. The Ford Focus then collided with a man in his 60s cycling on the opposite pavement.
The cyclist was treated at the scene before being rushed to a London hospital. He is now in a serious but stable condition.
Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is asking anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to step forward. Witnesses can call 01622 798538 or email [email protected], quoting reference SM/MD/42/23.
