Fire Erupts in Poplar Flat
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce fire that tore through a third-floor flat on Annabel Close, Poplar, yesterday (9 May).
Half the Flat Damaged but No Injuries
The fire damaged half of the four-room flat, but thankfully, no one was hurt in the blaze.
Cause Under Investigation
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said the cause of the fire is still being investigated. Firefighters urge residents to check out their online safety tips to stay prepared.
