During the morning of Wednesday 23 August 2023, a house in Granville Road was targeted while the residents were away, and on their return a quantity of jewellery was reported stolen.
Investigators from West Kent CID commenced an investigation into the incident which included house-to-house enquiries and a forensic examination of the scene.
On Monday 4 September, a man was arrested and taken into custody.
Leon Grant, of Hazelbank Road, south London was later charged with burglary. He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 September.
