Detectives Investigating An Assault In Folkestone Are Appealing For Witnesses To Come Forward

Kent Police was called after a man was found with injuries near Foord Road at around 7.20pm on Thursday 7 September 2023.

It is believed that, at around 7pm that evening, the man was assaulted by two men who are known to him on a footpath near the top of the steps which lead off Bradstone Avenue.

The victim sustained a head injury consistent with a stab wound and he was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are not described as life-changing

Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Anyone who has private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from that time from the area surrounding St John’s Street, Mount Pleasant Road and Bradstone Avenue is also asked to contact police.
