In a tragic case that has gripped the community, detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Deshaun James-Tuitt in Islington have charged an additional three teenagers with his murder. The latest developments in the investigation were announced as the suspects appeared in court.
Two teenagers, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were charged with the murder of Deshaun James-Tuitt on Thursday, October 19. They appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 20, and are set to make their next appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, October 24.
Another 16-year-old male, was charged with murder on Friday, October 20. He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Corner on Saturday, October 21, and is scheduled to appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, October 24.
This follows previous charges against three males – aged 16, aged 15, and aged 15 – who were charged with murder. They are due to appear in custody at the Old Bailey on December 4.
Deshaun James-Tuitt tragically lost his life after being stabbed in Highbury Fields, Islington, on August 4, 2022.
