Two-year Police Investigation Leads To 13-year Prison Sentence For Man Who Sexually Exploited Teenage Girls

Paedophile Jailed for Exploiting Three Teenage Girls

A 45-year-old man from Southwark has been locked up for 13-and-a-half years after sexually exploiting three teenage girls. Benjamin Agyemang, known as ‘Marshay’, was found guilty of multiple child sex offences spanning two decades.

Corrupt ‘Modelling Agent’ Lured Underage Victims

Agyemang targeted girls aged 14 to 16, tricking them with promises of modelling careers before abusing them at his Elephant and Castle flat. One victim finally came forward a decade later, sparking a two-year Met Police probe that uncovered more survivors.

Long Hunt Ends with Prison Sentence

Detectives uncovered disturbing details of week-long stints where victims were controlled and abused by Agyemang and his clients. The court heard how he “sold” one victim as an escort under false pretences, leading to serious sexual assault.

Detective Constable Kate Orr said: “Sexual predators like Agyemang often escape justice for years due to fear and shame. I commend the courage of the victims and hope this conviction offers closure. We urge all victims to come forward — we have specially trained officers ready to listen and investigate.”

Police Call for More Victims to Speak Out

Agyemang was first arrested in 2021 after a victim reported abuse from 2008. His June 2022 arrest brought charges over offences against all three known survivors. The Met continues its push to root out sexual offenders and protect London’s women and children.

If you have been affected by sexual abuse or have information on offenders, contact police on 101 or dial 999 in an emergency. Specialist support agencies are available to help victims seek justice and safety.
