In a recent court hearing, two men were sentenced for deliberately starting fires across Sussex, causing over £1 million in damage. Joshua Brinkley, 20, and Connor Luck, 21, set fire to abandoned buildings, agricultural barns, farmland, and hay bales, resulting in extensive damage and disruption.
The estimated value of the total damage caused by their actions was £1,117,825. The incidents took place at various locations between June and November 2021, including Horsham, Wivelsfield Green, Lower Willingdon, Beddingham, Rathfinny in Alfriston, Tarring Neville, Lewes Road in Ringmer, and Litlington Road in Seaford.
