West Midlands Police statement: We’re investigating after a man was found dead in a flat fire in Walsall this morning (20 Nov).
Emergency services were called just after 4am to Wednesbury Road, where a man in his 30s was confirmed dead at the scene.
A cordon remains in place with a road closure while forensic examinations take place to establish the cause of the fire and how the man died.
