Police Release CCTV Image After Schoolgirl Sex Assault on Kettering Train
Detectives from British Transport Police are hunting a man linked to a shocking sexual assault on a schoolgirl onboard a train at Kettering station.
Incident Caught on CCTV at Kettering Station
The attack happened on Tuesday, September 12, at around 4.45pm. A group of schoolchildren had boarded a train at Wellingborough" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wellingborough, settling near the middle of the carriage. While the train approached Kettering, a man struck up a conversation with one of the boys before allegedly making inappropriate comments about a girl’s appearance then sexually assaulting her as the children moved toward the train doors.
Perpetrator Flees Toward Leicester
The youngsters got off at platform two at Kettering and left the scene. Meanwhile, police believe the suspect boarded a train to Leicester.
