Knife Threat on East London DLR Train Sparks Police Hunt
Police have launched an urgent appeal after a terrifying knife scare on a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) train in East London. The British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting a man who reportedly attacked a passenger before pulling a knife and making threats.
Shocking Attack Between Blackwall and Westferry
The alarming incident happened at around 9.20pm on December 6, between Blackwall and Westferry stations. The suspect boarded the DLR train, shouted at a seated passenger, then kicked them before revealing a knife hidden in his waistband. The situation quickly escalated as he made threatening moves with the blade.
The attacker then covered his face with a balaclava before fleeing the train at Westferry. Thankfully, the victim escaped without any injuries.
CCTV Image Released – Police Seek Public’s Help
BTP have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could hold vital information about the case. The image is being circulated widely across police and media outlets.
Anyone who recognises the suspect or knows anything about the incident is urged to come forward immediately.
