A woman has been charged with murder following the tragic death of a man at a residence in Derbyshire.
The victim, Wayne Sibley, was discovered with severe injuries at a property located on Stamford Street in Ilkeston at approximately 16:45 GMT on Tuesday. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, the 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Derbyshire Police have announced that Regan Martin, aged 47 and a resident of Stamford Street in Ilkeston, has been charged with murder in connection with this incident. She is scheduled to appear before magistrates on Friday.
Regan Martin is currently in police custody while the investigation into the matter continues.
