Metropolitan Police release image of suspect linked to rape incident

Metropolitan Police have released an image of an individual they are seeking to speak to in connection with a rape incident. The victim, a man in his 20s, reported the incident, stating that he had been on a night out with friends in the Fulham area on Sunday, 26 November, before becoming separated from them.

According to the victim, the attack occurred between 1am and 6am the following morning in the vicinity of Russell Square, perpetrated by an unknown man. Disturbingly, the victim also reported that a number of his bank cards were stolen during the incident.

Promptly after the incident, the victim contacted the police before seeking medical attention at a hospital. Staff at the hospital also alerted the authorities, leading to an ongoing investigation.

Detectives have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the case. The public is urged to assist by contacting 101 or posting MetCC ref CAD 4150/26NOV23 if they recognise the individual or have any relevant information.
