Denaby Crime Boss Jahmaine Watson Locked Up for Gun Cache
Jahmaine Watson, 34, of Denaby’s Northumberland Lane, was arrested in June 2023 after police found his DNA on swabs taken from the trigger of a converted revolver.
Loaded Guns and Drugs Seized in Armed Raid
Officers executing a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act nabbed two loaded firearms—a converted revolver and a pistol—hidden in a hallway cupboard at a Denaby address. Alongside the weapons, a stash of drugs was also recovered.
Kingpin of ‘Pitsmoor Shotta Boys’ Gang Faces Justice
Watson, a key figure in the notorious organised crime gang ‘Pitsmoor Shotta Boys’ (PSB), was immediately remanded in custody. On 30 November 2023, he pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition.
Yesterday (4 January), the court slammed him with a hefty sentence of seven years and two months behind bars.

“This was a lengthy investigation that required meticulous forensic examination and has resulted in a key member of an organised crime group being jailed,” said Detective Chief Inspector Tony Slater from the Armed Crime Team. “The PSB have spread misery across our communities. I’m relieved Watson is off our streets for a significant time.” “Thanks to detailed forensic work, Watson’s DNA was found on a loaded gun hidden in an unassuming suburban home. Another Gang Member Jailed in Gun Bust
The DNA of Taylor Blackburn, 24, from Rotherham, was also discovered on one of the seized weapons during the December 2022 raid. Blackburn got five years in Sheffield Crown Court last November for possession of a prohibited firearm.
Watson faced two additional firearm charges, but these were dropped.
