The incidents took place just ten days apart — first on Monday, March 4, and again on Thursday, March 14. Both attacks involved the use of a crossbow, sparking alarm across the local community.

Heightened Police Presence This Weekend

In a blitz to catch the culprit(s), police will ramp up patrols in Shoreditch throughout the weekend. Tower Hamlets Council has joined forces with the Met, pooling resources to fast-track the investigation.

The investigation, led by CID detectives with support from neighbourhood and specialist units, is chasing down every lead — from eyewitness accounts to CCTV footage and forensic evidence.
