Kelly was sentenced at Teesside Crown Court in March. Temporary Detective Constable Samantha Finlayson of Cleveland Police’s Domestic Abuse Unit said:

“The sentence reflects the severity of Kelly’s crimes. We urge all victims of domestic abuse, no matter when it happened, to come forward and report it to Cleveland Police on 101.”
