Jack Hague, a 38-year-old man known for his warmth and humour, tragically lost his life in a stabbing incident in East London. The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening, May 5, on Corfield Street in Tower Hamlets, has sparked a murder investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

Authorities were alerted to the scene following reports of a disturbance around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Hague with a stab wound. Despite the swift response of officers and paramedics, Hague succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Originally from the local area, Hague leaves behind a grieving family who are currently being supported by specially trained officers. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place in the coming days.

He urged anyone with information about the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV or doorbell footage, to come forward and assist in the investigation.
