Two teenagers have been arrested following a dramatic high-speed chase in Greenwich on May 10, 2024. The suspects, aged 15 and 17, were apprehended after a stolen red Ford KA crashed during the pursuit.

Following the crash, police discovered a lock knife, cannabis, and false plates inside the vehicle. The incident has raised concerns about youth involvement in criminal activities and the dangers of high-speed pursuits in residential areas.

Greenwich Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) shared details of the incident on Twitter, stating: “Teenagers arrested after high-speed chase in SE18 on 10/05/2024. A stolen red Ford KA crashed; a lock knife, cannabis, and false plates were found. Suspects, 15 and 17, arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.”

The teenagers were subsequently released on bail as investigations continue. The police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
