Plusnet Mobile to Shut Down in June 2024
BT Group is pulling the plug on Plusnet Mobile next year. The mobile service will officially close in June 2024 as BT pushes EE to take centre stage as its flagship mobile brand.
What You Must Do Before Plusnet Closes
- Closure Date & Your Next Steps
- Plusnet will confirm your closure date at least 30 days before your plan ends.
- You’ll need to switch to another provider within 40 days after closure.
- If you wait longer than 40 days, your account will shut automatically and you’ll lose all mobile services.
- Once your account closes, transferring your number won’t be possible.
- Keep Your Mobile Number
- To keep your number, text “PAC” to 65075 to get your Porting Authorisation Code.
- Your PAC code lasts 30 days – use it to switch providers without losing your number.
- Switch to EE with Exclusive SIM-Only Deals
- Plusnet customers can jump ship to EE and grab exclusive offers.
- SIM-only plans start from just £4 a month.
- Call 0800 079 0642 or visit EE to claim your deal today.
