A train travelling between Treherbert and Cardiff Central on Tuesday, August 6th, was forced to halt at Ton Pentre due to a disturbance caused by a group of youths.
The train, which had set off at 8:42 PM, encountered trouble when the group began playing loud music, causing disruption to fellow passengers. When challenged, the youths responded violently, assaulting a member of the train staff and a member of the public who had intervened.
The incident, described as “appalling behaviour,” has sparked concern among passengers and staff alike. Authorities are investigating the situation, and there have been calls for increased security measures on public transport to prevent such occurrences in the future.
