Emergency crews are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car on Choats Manor Way, near the A13 roundabout in Dagenham. Reports confirm that individuals are trapped following the incident, which occurred earlier this morning, Friday, November 8.
The collision, involving a car and a lorry, led to persons becoming trapped under the A13 roundabout structure. Multiple emergency services, including fire, police, and ambulance services, have been dispatched to the location to carry out a rescue operation.
Traffic diversions are in place as crews work to safely extricate those trapped and assess any further risks. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the emergency response is ongoing. Further updates are expected as rescue efforts continue.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.29am this morning (Friday 8 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in Choats Manor Way, Dagenham. “We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and an incident response officer. “Our crews treated two patients at the scene, before taking them both to hospital.”

A Spokesman for the Met Police said Police were called at around 07:20hrs on Friday, 8 November to reports of a road traffic collision in Choats Manor Way, Dagenham. Officers are currently in attendance along with colleagues from LAS and LFB. A lorry was in collision with a car.
Three passengers in the car received injuries. We await an update on their conditions.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured and has been spoken to.
