Serious Crash in Dagenham: Lorry and Car Collision Traps Passengers

Emergency crews are battling to rescue people trapped after a major crash involving a lorry and a car on Choats Manor Way, near the A13 roundabout in Dagenham. The collision happened early Friday morning, November 8, and has caused severe disruption in the area.

Trapped Under Roundabout, Rescue Underway

Reports confirm multiple individuals were trapped beneath the A13 roundabout structure following the crash. Firefighters, police, and ambulance teams rushed to the scene to start a delicate rescue operation. Traffic diversions are in place, with motorists urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes until the incident is cleared.

Injuries Reported, Investigation Ongoing

A London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.29am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision in Choats Manor Way, Dagenham. We sent ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene. Our crews treated two patients at the scene before rushing them to hospital.”

Met Police confirmed officers were alerted at around 7.20am and attended alongside London Fire Brigade and ambulance services. They revealed three passengers in the car sustained injuries.

The lorry driver escaped unharmed and has been spoken to by police. Authorities are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number CAD 1293/08Nov.
