Police are appealing for information following the tragic death of a young woman in a collision on Tuesday, November 26.
Alana Armstrong, 25, was fatally struck on Batley Lane, Pleasley, at approximately 8 PM, after her e-bike was reportedly rammed by a dark-colored Land Rover Discovery. The vehicle, believed to have been manufactured between 2004 and 2009, fled the scene, with the last sighting reported as it turned onto Rowthorne Lane heading towards the A617 and New Houghton.
Derbyshire Constabulary has launched an urgent investigation into the incident and is seeking any witnesses or individuals with knowledge of the vehicle’s whereabouts.
In a heartfelt plea, investigators are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage in the area or who may have information about the Land Rover Discovery to come forward.
