Emergency services, including six fire engines, responded to a major fire at Cadogan Pier, Chelsea Embankment, SW3, late on Wednesday, 18 December 2024.

The incident, which began just before 10 PM, saw reports of cylinders on board and prompted a significant water relay operation.

Incident Details
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was first alerted to the fire at approximately 10 PM. Crews confirmed persons were on board and safely evacuated all individuals from the vessel. Remarkably, no injuries have been reported.

Due to the potential presence of cylinders, a large safety cordon was established around the area to mitigate the risk of explosions.
Fire crews worked into the night to contain the blaze, implementing a water relay system to access water supplies effectively.

The RNLI lifeboat from TowerBridge and the London Fire Brigade Boat Team were also deployed to assist in the response.
