Thief Strikes Morrisons Over 10 Times
Shelley Earnshaw, 31, racked up more than ten thefts at Milton Regis’ Morrisons between 29 December 2024 and 11 January 2025. She stole meat, cheese, alcohol, household goods, and hygiene products worth over £850. All this while banned from the store.
Earnshaw was under a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) since September 2024, banning her from entering the supermarket for three years. She blatantly ignored it.
Police Nab Offender After Repeat Thefts
Kent Police arrested Earnshaw on 11 January 2025 following her persistent theft spree. She faced 22 charges, including multiple theft counts and breaching the CBO. She pleaded guilty on 13 January and was sentenced to eight months behind bars by magistrates.
Police Slam Earnshaw’s Disregard for Law
“Earnshaw showed complete contempt for the court order designed to protect local businesses and the community,” said Chief Inspector Vanessa Foster. “We’re pleased with the custodial sentence and hope it sends a strong message: shoplifting is never a victimless crime and we will always pursue offenders vigorously.”
