M25 Chaos Near Heathrow After Multi-Car Smash
Motorists are stuck in heavy jams on the M25 this afternoon following a multi-vehicle collision that shut three lanes near Heathrow Airport.
Crash Closes Junction 14 Lanes
National Highways East confirmed lanes 2, 3, and 4 on the clockwise M25 near Junction 14 are closed. Emergency crews including police, fire, paramedics, and traffic officers rushed to the scene after the incident at around 2:30 PM.
Traffic is already backed up for three miles with delays expected to last at least 25 minutes beyond usual travel times.
Heathrow Passengers Warned: Leave Extra Time
With the crash so close to Heathrow Airport, travellers are urged to factor in extra time. The airport warned: “Due to a multi-vehicle collision on the M25 near Junction 14, we recommend allowing extra travel time if you’re heading to the airport. Please check with your airline for any flight updates.”

National Highways suggests using the M4 or A312 as alternative routes around the snarled section. Drivers should stay in their vehicles unless told otherwise and keep emergency lanes clear.
