Officers were flagged down at around 6pm by members of the public who had detained the man at the scene.
“Officers were alerted to an assault by members of the public in Dockhead, SE1. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.”
