Two Men Charged After Fatal Walworth Stabbing of 21-Year-Old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya
Two men have been charged, and a teenager remains in custody following the deadly stabbing of 21-year-old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya in Walworth earlier this month.
Fatal Stabbing on Hillingdon Street
Police rushed to Hillingdon Street, SE17, at 9:16pm on Monday, 14 April after reports of a stabbing.
Despite desperate efforts by officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics, Giovanny was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Men Face Murder Charges, Teen Held in Custody
- Joseph Jimenez, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on Tuesday, 23 April. He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 23 April, and at the Old Bailey on Friday, 25 April.
- Angel Gonzales Angulo, 19, from Camberwell Church Street, SE5, was arrested on Wednesday, 23 April and charged with murder the following day. He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 25 April and is due at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 29 April.
A 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 25 April. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Met Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police confirmed specialist officers are supporting Giovanny’s family during this difficult time.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are urging anyone with information to come forward.
