Shocking Collision Outside Pennyman Primary
An 8-year-old boy was left seriously injured following a collision with a black Siron dirt bike outside Pennyman Primary School in Middlesbrough.
The crash happened around 4pm on Monday, 5 May 2025, on Fulbeck Road, when emergency services were called after reports of the accident involving the young cyclist and the off-road bike.
The dirt bike rider briefly spoke to the child after the smash but then fled the scene, Cleveland Police confirmed.
Child Rushed to Hospital with Serious Chest Injury
The boy was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital with a serious chest injury and remains there awaiting surgery. His condition is being closely monitored by medical staff.
