Thames Valley Police Hunt Bus Creeper After Shocking Attacks on Slough’s 702 Route
Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent appeal after two sexual assaults and a stalking incident rocked Slough’s busy London Line 702 bus.
CCTV footage shows a man officers believe could hold vital clues. The attacks occurred in January, March, and May 2025, putting commuters on edge across Berkshire.
Three Harrowing Incidents on 702 Bus
- In January and March, a woman was sexually assaulted on the 702 bus from London to Slough, being inappropriately touched over her clothing.
- On 2 May, the same suspect reportedly tried to sit beside the victim. When blocked, he followed her off the bus on Wellington Street, harassing her and causing serious distress.
- A passerby intervened just in time, allowing the woman to escape safely.
Police Plea: Identify This Man
Detective Constable Rebecca Allibone urged: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in these CCTV images to get in touch, as he may have vital information about the assaults and stalking incident.”
Patrols in Slough have been boosted. Anyone with info should call 101 with reference 43250216796 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
Community and Police Step Up
Superintendent Kelly Gardner, Thames Valley’s stalking lead, warned the force is ready to use Stalking Protection Orders to halt further abuse.
Locals have praised the police response online. One social media user wrote:
“Glad TVP is taking this seriously. Hope they catch him soon.”
The case hits amid a rise in reported sexual offences across Thames Valley, with authorities urging vigilance and prompt reporting.
