Woman Assaulted at Llanelli Railway Station — British Transport Police Release CCTV Image
Overview
British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating an assault at Llanelli railway station have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
The assault occurred around 11pm on Friday, 19 July, when a man and woman in their 40s disembarked a train at Llanelli station. Shortly after, they became involved in a verbal altercation with another couple on the platform.
During the dispute, the female victim was grabbed and punched in the face, resulting in a black eye and a split lip.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers believe the woman captured in the released CCTV image may hold vital information that could assist their enquiries.
A spokesperson for the BTP said:
“We are appealing for anyone who recognises the woman in the image, or who witnessed the incident, to get in touch. Any information provided will greatly assist our investigation.”
