Homes in Gosport Hit by Second Power Cut after Cable Fault
Homes this evening have been left without power again. Resident in the Gosport area have been hit for a second time this week with a loss of power. Southern Electric has confirmed approx 33 approx homes in the areas of the town are were without power. A spokesman confirmed that engineers are currently at the substation where the fault occurred, and the cause is being investigated. It is believed that a cable fault at Lombard close towards the “Downside” Sub station in the Bridgemary District of Gosport has cut power to many of the home.
