Two Teenage Girls Killed in Horror Crash with Black Ford Hot Hatch in Aldershot
Tragedy struck Aldershot last night as two teenage girls were fatally hit by a black Ford Focus ST while out running on Queens Avenue.
Fatal Collision on Queens Avenue
The devastating crash happened shortly after 7:10pm on Tuesday, November 8. The two girls were struck by the car and thrown violently, witnesses say one hit the windscreen, suffering severe injuries. Despite rapid emergency response, both died at the scene.
The black Ford Focus was later loaded onto a recovery vehicle and removed under police escort just after midnight. Queens Avenue remains closed into the early hours as investigators scour the scene through foul weather.
Arrest Made as Police Continue Probe
A 24-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody in connection with the incident. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward to help shed light on what happened. Specialist officers are supporting the devastated families during this grim ordeal.
Emergency Response & Witness Appeal
A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed crews arrived just after 7:11pm, deploying two ambulances, two rapid response paramedics, and an air ambulance that touched down on the nearby army sports field.
“Despite our best efforts, the teenagers succumbed to their serious injuries at the scene,” she said.
