Woman Cut free from Vehicle after Lorry Shunt in Shedfield

A woman has been cut free from her vehicle after being involved in a collision with a lorry near Fareham this morning. Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the A334 in Shedfield. Fire crews from Fareham and Wickham also attended and removed the roof of the vehicle to free the woman. She has been taken to hospital with neck and back pain. The road was closed for an hour  in both directions at the B2177 Winchester Road while the woman was cut free and a clear up and recovery of the vehicle took place. Locals buses in the area were also affected and had to be diverted. Despite other reports the road has since reopened.
