5G Mast Torched in Ruislip – Fire Crews Rush to Scene

Firefighters raced to Field End Road, Ruislip, in the early hours after a 5G phone mast was deliberately set on fire.

Blaze Strikes Just After 1am

Two London Fire Brigade crews arrived shortly after 1am on Friday. Using two hose reels, they fought the flames and prevented the fire from spreading further.

The 5G mast was left severely damaged, with repairs expected to cost thousands of pounds. A joint probe has been launched by London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.

Conspiracy Theories Spark Arson Attacks

This attack comes amid a wave of 5G mast fires across the UK. Some believe false claims linking 5G radiation to the coronavirus pandemic.

The rumour began when conspiracy theorists falsely claimed that Africa’s reportedly lower Covid-19 cases were due to a lack of 5G technology. The World Health Organization swiftly debunked this, confirming thousands of cases on the continent.

UK Government Slams 5G-Covid Link

The UK government has firmly stated there is “no evidence to suggest that 5G has anything to do with Covid-19.”

Despite official reassurances, conspiracy groups continue to spread misinformation on social media, including Stop 5G Facebook pages urging followers to vandalise masts and target engineers.

Authorities warn that these dangerous rumours could lead to further criminal damage and risk public safety.
