Woman Allegedly Steals Phone and Necklace After Asking to Use Toilet in Southampton
Early risers in North East Close, Southampton, were shocked by a crafty theft between 6.30am and 6.40am. A woman knocked on the back door of a home, asked to use the toilet, and was let in by a man in his 70s.
But when she left, the pensioner realised his prized belongings were missing: a blue Huawei P30 phone worth £300 and a gold crucifix necklace valued at £100.
Police Release Description of Suspected Thief
The stolen phone’s unique ID is 868161041502791. Officers are on the hunt and urge anyone with info to come forward.
The suspect is described as:
- White female, aged 19-25
- 5ft 6ins tall, slim build
- Dark brown hair and a noticeable cold sore
- Wearing a dark blouse or jacket, ripped jeans, and soft shoes or trainers
She is believed to have connections to Portsmouth.
