Police officers responded to suspected cable theft in #Rainham on Saturday in the early hours.
Officers from British Transport Police were supported by a Police dog and helicopter.
Five males were found hiding in the undergrowth and arrested for illegal entry to the UK.
One of the males was also arrested for knife possession and assault for kicking a police dog.
