Cable thieves caught red-handed in Rainham after police chase
Early morning raid in Rainham
Police swooped in the early hours of Saturday on a suspected cable theft in Rainham. Officers from British Transport Police Unit 1 were on the scene, backed up by a sniffer dog and a helicopter.
Suspects busted hiding in bushes
Five men were found hiding in the undergrowth and promptly arrested for illegal entry to the UK. The drama didn’t end there.
Knife and assault charges added
