Man Attacked in Rochester: Police Hunt for Witnesses

A man in his 20s was viciously assaulted on Duncan Road, near Trafalgar Street, at around 11pm on Sunday, 23 January 2022. The attacker, described as white, left him with injuries to his right leg that needed hospital treatment.

Arrest Made but Inquiry Continues

Police arrested a 32-year-old Rochester man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm the same night. He has since been released on bail until 17 February while investigations continue.

Police Appeal for More Witnesses

Kent Police have interviewed several witnesses and gathered CCTV footage. However, they believe more people saw the attack and are yet to come forward.
